brother: I want my own dire wolf.
me: What are dire wolves?
brother: They're giant wolves. They don't exist anymore, but they come out on here [Game of Thrones] a lot.
me: Why would you want a dire wolf?
brother: To defend myself.
me: So you want to kill people with it?
brother: No.
me: So you want to severely hurt people with it?
brother: If they try to hurt me, yeah.
me: Okay, so what if people come after your dire wolf?
brother: I'll shoot them. (says very protectively/defensively/without much hesitation)
me: You seem really attached to this imaginary wolf already.
brother: Well he's MY wolf.
